How do I go about placing an order?

The more information, the better so the following is what we look for:

Item Description: manufacturer, style number, color, size and quantity of each
Type of Decoration: embroidery, screen print, transfer, digital print, specialty
Imprint Locations: left chest, right sleeve, etc.
Imprint Colors: stock or PMS

Please provide design dimensions in your PO or artwork. For further guidance, refer to our suggested imprint size chart for most common sizes.

How are prices determined?

Multiple factors come into play when pricing screen printing, embroidery, or digital printing. If you have any questions or are unsure how to quote a job using the price list, send us an email, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Screen printing prices are affected by quantity, number of ink colors, and garment color.

Embroidery prices are affected by quantity, stitch count, placement, and garment type.

Digital printing prices are primarily affected by quantity and type of substrate.

What are your turnaround times?

Our turnaround time for screen printing is 5-7 business days from receipt of PO, final art approval, and merchandise on the floor at least 2 business days.

Our turnaround time for embroidery is 5-10 business days from receipt of PO, final art approval, and merchandise on the floor at least 2 business days.

Our turnaround time for digital printing is 3-7 business days from receipt of PO and final art approval.

We schedule our presses a week in advance and strive to provide a digital approval within 48 hours of receiving all pertinent information. Any changes in artwork or short shipments from vendors may delay production time.

Do you offer rush services?

We offer rush services as an accomodation, not a rule.  Additional charges will apply.  Please see our rush services pricing section for current rates.  Keep in mind our normal turnaround times are some of the best in the business.  Always inquire about availability with us first before committing to a rush job.

What file format should I submit?

For screen printing, we prefer .eps files with all text converted to solid paths, all outlines converted to curves and welded. Please send an accompanying .jpeg file.  If requesting CMYK process printing or simulated spot process printing, we prefer hi-resolution art in .tiff, .pdf, or .png formats with a transparent background. Also, including design dimensions in your proof is strongly encouraged.  Otherwise, we will scale to our most common sizes.

For embroidery we accept .dst and .pes file formats.  Use of third party embroidery tapes incur a small one-time charge as we have to input into our system and assign colorways, etc. Please submit .dst or .pes files with a separate .jpg or .pdf illustrating thread colors, sewing order, stitch count, etc. We do not accept third party embridery tapes for 3-D sewouts. Send us your artwork, and we will digitize for 3-D raised embroidery. We only use Madeira threads, so please consider this when submitting your PO and use color conversion if needed.

For digital printing we accept all file formats, but for consistency and ease of transfer we ask for .eps files with all text converted to solid paths and an accompanying .jpeg file.  Please assign PMS colors, if necessary.  Also, include a .jpg or uneditable .pdf as an additonal reference image.

What is your minimum order quantity?

Our minimum order quantity for screen printing is 12.  We do not have minimums for embroidery, digital printing, or heat printing, but we do have dollar amount minimums.

What is your reject rate or misprint allowance?

When printing or embroidering on customer supplied garments, please allow a 5-piece minimum or 2% reject rate per garment, per placement, whichever is greater, on flat stock with no penalty to us. On caps and odd-shaped garments, please allow a 5-piece minimum or 4% reject rate, whichever is greater, per piece, per placement, with no penalty to us. Percentages are based on quantity of imprints, not quantity of garments. Although our actual, cumulative reject rates are much lower than those mentioned, we strongly recommend that you order extra garments in each size, style, and color. Exact quantities are not guaranteed and are not available on rush orders. Printsport will not be held responsible for consequential damages such as profit loss on spoiled goods.

What is your maximum imprint area?

Our maximum imprint sizes are as follows:

Maximum Adult Imprint Size: 12.50”w X 15.00”h

Maximum Youth Imprint Size: 9.50”w X 11.00”h

Keep in mind, fitting your design within an 11″ X 11″ imprint area will work for most youth and adult t-shirts, saving you the additional cost of separate setup and run charges. For further guidance, please refer to our suggested imprint size chart for most common sizes.

Do you offer Pantone Color Matching?

Yes, we have an in-house mixing station to match PMS colors. Additional charges will apply. Please keep in mind the colors will be close but not always exact as there are many variabes that may affect the final print, especially when printing on colored textiles. For example, the color hue will most likely look different when printed on a white garment versus a blue garment versus a black garment, etc., even in the same print run. You should expect a reasonable variation in color due to the aforementioned factors. If you are not experienced in PMS color matching, we strongly suggest picking from our stock inks. Do you print samples?

We can provide screen print samples at the same price as our 12-piece minimum. Embroidery and digital print samples are subject to our current pricing minimums.

Do you offer athletic numbering and lettering?

Yes, we name and number jerseys for national franchises as well as large sports leagues. All athletic personalization orders must be submitted with detailed roster information in ascending order. This may be done through our online tool or we can send you a form.

What are your standard thread colors?

How many thread colors can I choose per design?

Embroidery sewouts are limited to 10 colors per design. Excessive thread changes will incur additonal charges.

May I submit my own digitized file?

Shipping

How will my order ship?

We offer drop shipping via USPS, UPS, and FedEx  We can ship on account or ours.

Do you offer a delivery service?

We can deliever within a 60-mile radius. Delivery charges will apply. Please inquire well in advance of your target delivery date, and we will do our best to accomodate your request.

May I pick up my order in person?

Yes, you may choose to pick up your orders between 9am-6pm, M-F at our facility in Shreveport.

Will you ship internationally?

Yes, however, we require your UPS, FedEx or DHL number, and some limitations may affect our ability to guarantee a smooth process. We can also ship orders via USPS International. We do have a service charge for shipping anything internationally at a minimum $100.00 per shipment. Please let us know well in advance.

Payment

How much do I have to pay to get started?

All wholesale orders are to be paid upfront. All contract orders are to be paid upon pickup or shipment and must have a credit card on file. If you wish to have an account with Printsport, please inquire, and we will send you a credit application.  All customers on account must be current or else privileges will be suspended.

How do I go about making payment?

You may pay with credit card by phone or in person.  Customers with approved credit terms may pay with check. E-invoicing is also available for your convenience.

Returns

What is your return policy?

There are no returns on custom apparel or products. If there is a problem on our end, we will do everything in our power to make things right.
